Carina Lewis-Spencer
Attorney Carina Lewis-Spencer was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed her undergraduate studies at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. While at MUW, Mrs. Lewis participated in many activities, including a study abroad experience in London, England. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree, Mrs. Lewis went on to earn a master’s degree from Mississippi State University. Afterwards, she earned her law degree from the University of Mississippi’s School of Law.

While in law school, Attorney Lewis was active in student government, serving as an Honor Council Representative and as a member of the Black Law Student Association Executive Board. Furthermore, Attorney Lewis also participated in many community service activities serving underserved communities, including working as a legal clerk with the Elder Law Clinic. Notably, she marks her opportunity to travel to South Africa to work with refugees and other legal professionals as one of many highlights from her time in law school.

Attorney Lewis is licensed to practice law in all Mississippi state courts and the United States Northern District Court of Mississippi. Since being admitted to the Mississippi Bar, she has continued to participate in community service projects, providing legal services to those in her local community.

Attorney Lewis  now resides in Moss Point, MS with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys reading the latest novels, traveling, and participating in community service organizations.
